The Motherhouse: This cherished building has been home to the Sisters since it was built. The cornerstone was laid on January 15, 1874 and the building is listed in the St. Johns County historical marker database.
Villa Flora: Villa Flora was built in 1898 as a winter residence and was famous for its gardens. The Sisters purchased it in July 1941 for St. Joseph Academy - and currently serves as the Sisters retreat location, St. Joseph Renewal Center.
St. Joseph Neighborhood Center at St. Benedict the Moor Schoolhouse: The St. Benedict the Moor Schoolhouse was built in 1898 with funds donated by Sr. Katherine Drexel (later canonized as Saint Katherine Drexel). The Sisters of St. Joseph operated and taught at St. Benedicts from 1898 -1964. They are currently restoring this historic building as it will be the headquarters for St. Joseph Neighborhood Center in spring 2024.
